TIMTOS 2015, organised jointly by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry, ran from 3 to 8 March 2015 at the Taipei World Trade Center halls 1 and 3, the Nangang Exhibition Hall and the Taipei Expo Yuanshan Park.
The biennial show reached a new high: 1,015 exhibitors across 5,411 booths, with around 53,000 visitors expected. Besides Taiwan, exhibitors came from 18 countries and regions including Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Spain and the United States — roughly 260 foreign companies taking more than 1,000 booths. That was about 4% more foreign companies than the previous edition, and close to one third of all exhibitors came from overseas.
Major international builders including MAZAK, DMG MORI, SIEMENS, TRUMPF, KUKA, FANUC, YASDA, JTEKT, SODICK, MITSUBISHI, BOSCH, CITIZEN, IGUS and BLUM showed their latest products.
